Experience one of the Blue Mountains’ most impressive dry canyons with our full-day Tiger Snake adventure. Set deep within rugged rock pagoda country, this experience begins with a scenic bushwalk through wild, untouched terrain before we reach the narrow upper section of the canyon.

Here, the day quickly becomes a true canyoning classic—featuring four exciting abseils through tight, sculpted constrictions, and a spectacular overhanging drop into an open valley. With soaring walls, shifting light and dramatic geology all around, this section is a highlight for anyone who loves technical, hands-on adventure.

After a short walk through the valley floor, we approach the final abseil, an unforgettable descent into a dark, atmospheric slot that feels worlds away from the surface. It’s a moment that captures the essence of Blue Mountains canyoning: remote, ancient and breathtaking.

The exit is steep and challenging at first, requiring a careful scramble, before easing into a well-formed bushwalking track. Our route finishes with a climb over a towering rock pagoda, rewarding you with panoramic views across rugged, windswept country—a spectacular finale to a big day out.

With a maximum of only 4 participants, Tiger Snake Canyon offers an intimate, highly supported experience ideal for adventurous walkers, intermediate canyoners, or anyone seeking a full-day challenge a most remarkable landscape.
